They make sure that guests feel completely looked after in the restaurant, creating the feeling of relaxation and being looked after that guests are looking for on holiday.
During your training, you will learn all the processes and tasks in the restaurant. You will start by looking over the shoulders of our specialist staff, gradually taking on your own tasks and responsibilities until you are finally able to manage your own service station in the restaurant, making you a valuable member of our team.
Catering specialists specialising in restaurant service welcome and advise guests, serve drinks and food and cash up. Their job is to create the guest experience, to provide friendly and expert advice and to be a salesperson and carer. To this end, they also learn the basics of food and its use in the catering trade in the kitchen, as well as everything they need to know about the design and maintenance of guest rooms in the service department. Training as a catering specialist only takes two years. After successful completion, training companies and trainees can agree that the training will be continued. The trainee can then go on to gain a qualification as a specialist in restaurant and event catering.
